1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms govern access to Pass The CSLB, operated by Pshichenko Enterprises Inc.. By using the service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to form a contract, and provide accurate account and billing information.
2. Independent educational service
Pass The CSLB is an independent, audio-first study companion. It is not affiliated with CSLB, PSI Exams, or any government agency; it is not a school, legal advice, engineering advice, or job-specific professional advice; and no exam outcome is guaranteed. Official and governing sources control current licensing, code, safety, permit, plan, specification, manufacturer, and live-job decisions.
3. Accounts and authentication
Accounts use Google or passwordless email-link authentication. Keep access to your email and sign-in provider secure, sign out on shared devices, and notify support of suspected unauthorized access. One customer account may use one membership. You may not share, sell, automate, scrape, or provide account access to another person.
4. Free service and membership
Public videos, written lessons, official-resource links, selected episode preview questions, and a limited Practice demonstration may be available without payment. Complete episode quizzes, member Practice sessions, cross-device progress, and other identified member features require an active membership.
Membership billing, automatic renewal, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the Subscription, Billing, Cancellation, and Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
The service is designed exclusively for people studying California contractor-licensing subjects and does not represent that its content applies to another jurisdiction. Access is not limited by a customer's physical location, and nothing in these Terms waives consumer rights that apply where the customer lives.
5. Personal-study license and intellectual property
Pass The CSLB grants a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the service for normal personal study. Content, quizzes, explanations, scripts, charts, branding, software, and audio are owned by or licensed to Pshichenko Enterprises Inc.. You may not reproduce, redistribute, publish, sell, reverse engineer, bulk-download, bypass access controls, or use the service to create a competing question bank, course, dataset, or model-training corpus.
6. Acceptable use and enforcement
You may not interfere with the service, probe security, submit malicious material, impersonate another person, use automated high-volume access, evade reasonable limits, or violate law or another person’s rights. Access may be limited or terminated to protect customers, content, systems, or legal rights. Where practical, support will help resolve good-faith account issues.
7. Feedback
Feedback may be used to operate and improve Pass The CSLB without an obligation to compensate the sender. Do not submit confidential third-party information or copyrighted exam-prep material.
8. Disclaimers and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. Pshichenko Enterprises Inc. does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pshichenko Enterprises Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Total liability will not exceed the greater of amounts paid during the twelve months before the claim or one hundred dollars. Rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.
9. Disputes
Before filing a formal claim, contact support@passthecslb.com and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. These Terms are governed by California law, without overriding consumer protections that cannot lawfully be waived. A claim may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction, including an eligible small-claims court. These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive a right to participate in a class action or to request a jury where that right applies.
10. Changes and termination
Material changes will be communicated as required by law. A fee change for an existing recurring service will receive advance retainable notice and cancellation instructions. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment, intellectual-property, audit, consent-retention, disclaimer, and dispute provisions—continue to apply.
